2021.11.27 18:05 ianjamieson 65W USB C PD charger for 12V battery
I have found this product:
Which looks as though it will give 65W power via USB C. Great, it can charge my MacBook. However I am trying to find something that will connect straight to a 12V battery, but all I can find are lower rated power ones like this:
I am wondering if anyone knows of a solution. I was thinking I could just buy one of these:
Connect that to the battery and then plug in the first item. But it seems like a bit of a hack.
Thanks in advance.

2021.11.27 18:05 CorruptedCashbringer Is my network secured? Network was compromised via RDP exploit
I have a Windows 10 Pro machine with just a bunch of large storage capacity disks on them and a SSD with the OS. I have this PC plugged into a managed Luxul switch and use RDP from my personal PC to log into it. This PC is only used as a Plex server for me and close friends to use. The primary user account is password protected and I don't use factory default credentials for anything. This server PC also has a KillSwitch enabled on NordVPN and sits on a VPN server that's close to where I live for optimized speeds but doesn't share my public IP. I did DMZ the desktop to ensure people I share with my Plex library wouldn't have any downtime, and I think this is where my downfall was. I have since removed the DMZ and just have a special port forwarded set up.
On 11.25 at like 3 AM I got a notification on my personal PC that my RDP session ended because another user accessed it. Thought it was a fluke so I logged back in and didn't see anything weird so maybe my landlord accidentally logged into it from his PC but he didn't. Went to sleep and woke up at 530 AM and sat at my desk again and that same message came up. I logged back in, and I was greeted with something I used to make fun of my clients for complaining about being hacked because of how stupid it sounded.
There was IObit Unlocker running, they had an IP scanner looking for other devices in CMD, and they had something opened called "HackerTools". I yanked the Ethernet cable out of the PC and hooked up a monitor to it to see what happened and started triage. This shit was terrifying and had no idea how this happened.
I ran Webroot, AVG, and BitDefender scans and Webroot found 6 HackerTools in my user's Downloads folder labeled "825825". In that folder was a bunch of scripts. I opened the scripts in Notepad to see what they were supposed to do and they essentially added regedit entries to prohibit the main user from opening UAC, Control Panel, Windows Firewall, or admin CMD.
I opened eventvwr and saw a TON of Authentication Failures of remote users trying to log into the PC all from the same IP. I googled that IP and it came up on IPAbuser and reported 400+ times for RDP exploiting and attempted hacking from some section of Russia.
I uninstalled IOBit software, changed the user password, checked my personal PC, my landlord's and my work PC and didn't see any attempted logins (none of these PCs have RDP enabled or remote support enabled) but still changed their passwords. I changed my router's login, switch's login, and called my ISP to release and redistribute a new public IP. It's been 2 days now and I haven't had any more failed authentication attempts and everything seems to be stable.
I don't know what other scans I should run. I read that I should run a network sniffer for checking internet packets but I'm not familiar with that process. Everything on my DHCP table looks like devices that are in the household and nothing new.
Again, when I used to work and fix people's PC issues and they told me they were hacked it was always user error and losing to social engineering but this was the real deal. Did I cover all my bases? Are there any outstanding symptoms I should keep an eye out for?
Thanks in advance.

2021.11.27 18:05 JmansAlive What’s the point in Challenge Swaps?
So I genuinely didn’t want to do the peerless warrior challenge so I used a challenge swap. The challenge I was then given was to win 3 fiesta’s which I was SUPER happy about! Once I completed it I went back to see if I got the Willow Tea armor only to find the challenge back… I am pretty bad at multiplayer games and I grinded so much recently to try and get this armor coating that I will probably never use and now I’m done. I hate the current event and I despise how the challenges are linked together.
I may play a few matches here and there but now im officially done with this garbage reward system and im only here for the campaign now. What the hell is the point in challenge swaps?

2021.11.27 18:05 aran_chithlum Router/switch for wireless bridge
I am setting up a wireless bridge (using Ubiquiti Nanobeams) to share the internet connection from my house to the building next door. We already have the local networks set up in each location. The setup is Antenna/Modem ---> Router 1 (Netgear R6350/AC1750) ---> Nanobeam 1 ---> Nanobeam 2 ---> Router 2 (Netgear Nighthawk R7800/AC2600).
Network 1 (house) has maybe 5 devices and Network 2 (next door) has have up to 15 devices, mostly low internet usage. ISP speeds are only about 30Mbps. Will the R6350 router be fine, or do I need a separate switch or beefier router?
Also, in reading this sub's Networking for beginners, will I need to reconfigure Network 2 to as a subnet of Network 1 with 192.168.2.x?
